Micah Rauch - Grade 8
About Mr. Micah Rauch ...
8TH GRADE
My name is Micah Rauch, and I'm the 8th Grade Teacher with the focus of my teaching being in the realm of Social Studies. I have a passion to teach Social Studies due to it being an amazing subject to show how God works His unique interactions of developing His church throughout time. I love showing how historical peoples had emotions and thoughts like us, and how it shapes who they are and how they are remembered.
Growing up in Central Illinois (No... I'm not a Bears fan), my life was led to teaching by those who surrounded me. My father is a DCE and my mother was a teacher, so I was placed into a career of youth development from birth. I later graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2017 with a degree in Elementary Education with minors in Theology and Social Studies. I was blessed to have my first call to Fort Wayne, IN to teach 5th and 6th grade Social Studies and P.E. I worked there for 8 years, before God led me here to Bonduel.
In Fort Wayne, I was also heavily involved with the Youth Ministry program as a volunteer and later as the youth minister. I was able to take youth to both the Houston (2022) and New Orleans (2025) Youth Gatherings, and on a servant event trip to Colorado (2024). I view that involving youth in God's Word and fellowship allows them to grow deeper into the faith and apply it in their lives.
As I go forward with teaching, I hope to continue to strengthen and further the student's understanding of God's created world and how we can continue to point to Christ in all that we do.
